My Job…

bootsblissnbighair:

As teachers we want students to learn from and be encouraged by us. Today, I reminisce about ALL of the AMAZING students who have inspired me throughout my years of teaching, and I am eternally grateful for the lessons they have taught me, and the passion they continue to put inside me making me LOVE my job! Love to all of my former, present, and future students for the learning we have done/will do together!

“‘This book gives me more information about penguins than I care to have.”

In 1944 a children’s book club sent a volume about penguins to a 10-year-old girl, enclosing a card seeking her opinion.

She wrote, “This book gives me more information about penguins than I care to have.”

The word pretty is unworthy of everything you will be, and no child of mine will be contained in five letters.

Katie Makkai ripped this one.

This is amazingly awesome and beyond beautiful. Got to love the spoken word.
