525,600 minutes ago I had my heart broken and I remember standing in my bathroom, staring at my red, tear stung eyes in the medicine cabinet mirror and thinking, “this is the worst I have felt in a really long time.” Bad things happen. Sometimes awful things happen. But I now know this- you should never have to convince someone to love you.
Be brave—move on with your life. Being alone is difficult to accept, but the healing it brought has been indescribable. That day is just a distant memory now.
